Hello Newcomb Friends and Families, please see all the important dates and information below---

Newcomb Summer Office Hours & Important Dates 

  • 6/13- 7:30 to 9:00 (Office will be closed from 9-10 am) 10 to 3pm (Teachers Last Day)
  • 6/16 to 6/18- The office will be open from 8:00am - 3:00 pm 
  • 6/19- Juneteenth Holiday, the office will be closed.
  • 6/20- Office closes for the summer at 2:00 pm
  • 6/23 to 7/18- ESY
  • 6/23 to 8/7 - ELOP Summer Program
  • 8/18- Office Opens for the 2025-2026 School year and office hours will be 7:30 to 4:00 pm 
  • 8/26- School will resume for the 2025-2026 school year. This will be a minimum day with a 1:00 pm dismissal for all students (TK-8)

Orientation Events

  • 8/21- TK/Kinder & New Elementary Student Orientation & Tour- 4 to 5:30 pm. (More information to follow)
  • 8/21- 9 to 11 am- 6th Grade Student/New Middle School Student Orientation in the gym and Parent meeting in the Auditorium from 9:15 to 9:45. 6th Grade & New Students will get their schedules at Orientation. 
  • 8/22- Class Lists and MS Schedules available on Friday August 22nd at 5:00 pm via ParentVUE

Supplies & Spirit Wear

  • Recommended Supply Lists Link 
  • Spirit Wear will be sold during our orientation events. (These will be cash only sales) 
  • The preorder Online Store will open on 8/18 and close 9/5.  (Details to follow)

**Please note that Newcomb Staff, including Principal Thompson & Mr. Morinaga, will be out of the office from 6/20 until 8/18. They will respond to emails upon their return from Summer break. Assistant Principal, Mrs. Thomas will not officially start her new role until the start of the new school year.
